System Configurator

The System Configurator selects cameras and lenses for a DIC test from your field of view, spatial resolution and frame rate requirements. Enter the test requirements and the configurator checks each camera and lens combination in the Correlated Solutions lineup against them.

  Inputs

  - Field of view: enter the FOV width, and the height if the aspect ratio matters. Cameras whose sensor aspect ratio cannot cover the full height are flagged with a height-crop warning.

  - Spatial resolution: enter the size of the smallest feature you need to resolve and the minimum number of pixels it must span (default 200). The configurator converts this to a required pixel density in px/mm.

  - Frame rate (High Speed only): enter the event duration and the number of frames you need. The configurator calculates the required frame rate. It indicates whether each camera reaches that rate at full resolution or only with a reduced window, and whether a burst camera's frame buffer holds the full sequence.
