A recent driver update has caused startup of some CSI software products to be slow or unresponsive, as detailed in this article. New installers are available for Vic-2D7, Vic-3D 9, Vic-3D 10, and Vic-Snap; for older software, a manual patch must be applied to fix the issue.
- The updated interface file can be found here:
https://downloads.correlatedsolutions.com/hasp_interface.zip - The file above should be unzipped and the .DLL inside should be placed in the Program Files folder with the affected software package.
For Vic-2D 6, this will usually be C:\Program Files\Correlated Solutions\Vic-2D 6.
For Vic-3D 8, this will usually be C:\Program Files\Correlated Solutions\Vic-3D 8.
Administrator privileges will be required to place files here, and a dialog will pop up to allow permission to replace the file. - After the file is replaced, the software should start normally.
If the procedure above cannot be completed or does not fix the problem please reach out to us at support@correlatedsolutions.com.
